Adventure Log Video Text

  • The adventure log is a great way to get your players involved in managing the campaign. At the start of each session, pick out one player to be responsible for writing up that session’s notes and posting it to the adventure log. Make sure to rotate the duty around so no one player feels overworked.
  • Choose a writing style that fits your goals for using Obsidian Portal. Many people simply post a bullet-point list of their notes from a session. At the opposite end of the spectrum, some people write very detailed in-character posts as if they’re composing a novel. Either style is fine, and don’t feel that you have to conform to anyone else’s standards.
